When you first open WPE, you see a rather friendly interface. PermEdit grants a selected process System rights, so by using PermEdit on WPE your WPE can actually see WoW Process.

Your Antivirus is partly correct, WPE Pro is a Trojan, but that Trojan is working for you, it brings you the Information, not someone else, so that Trojan is a good Trojan.
